(above) the infamous dr. sex has tagged all over america before getting caught covering a quarter mile of a freeway wall going down in history as one of the best bombers, cops found thousands of dr sex tag photos in his home after it was raided.
the 2 main paints i use are krylon and rustoleum, krylon runs about 3$ and rusto is always 1$ more, the cheapest place to get these are walmart, kmart usually is 50 cents more per can.
dont waste your money on shit cans, shit cans are cans that only cost a dollar, "touch n tone: and walmart brand. these are good for practice on cardboard but on walls they will run and tips dont work to good on them most the time. this paint is more watery.
practicing on cardboard, paint dont grab onto cardboard to good unless its thick paint like kilz(the kind with the special tops). youll have to go over it a few times to make a layer of paint. its better if u just take a paint roller and cover the cardboard first then wait for it to dry then paint that.
which reminds me kilz paint will stick good on anything, sometimes paint dont stick on old concrete, kilz is so thick that it will stick and last a very long time, the downside u cant use special tips.
its always good to buy a bucket of primer paint and roll the wall that your about to paint, this will make your paint have a cleaner nicer finish
keep in mind the air pressure in a krylon and rustoleum are different, rustoleum always sprays a tad bit smaller. for example a gold dot on krylon is about finger width, and on a rustoleum its half that.
tips do get clogged, most the time u have to just throw them out, buy them in bulk, always take extras with u when bombing. i heard carb cleaner and paint thinner will sometimes unclog them but its better to just take the loss and buy new ones, you dont wanna have problems in the middle of doing a piece on the freeway where time is limited.
clothes to wear?, backpacks? at first i thought the best thing to do was dress in totally black. but this makes u look suspicious if your walking around. if anything wear a blue shirt with a small printing on it. or a white shirt underneath so when your done bombing u can take your dark shirt off and be in your white shirt when your walking back. dont carry shit in your pockets, it seems like yah a backpack is noticeable but a cop cannot just search your backpack unless he finds something in your pockets(there aloud to search your pockets), this is called miranda rights. dont keep a drawin or tips in your pocket keep everything in your backpack. you can use a 6 pack beer case to hold your cans all in, always have your cans upright becuase they jingle more when there laying down, sometimes u can pack a towel in there to muffle the sound, if you really wanna get technical put a magnet under the cans, this will make the bearing inside the can not move and rattle
keep in mind this is all advice that works best for me, but it may work worse for you.
rusto cap 
- this is what most good taggers use for outlines and most the times small fill. its not to thin and not to thick, the closer u hold the smaller it will be and the farther will cover up more of a area. this is used alot becuase u dont have to keep changing tips u can just use this all at once, this will spray a hard dark line which is good for a shit wall thats hard to cover, it sprays fast which means u have to move fast or else your gonna drip. these rarely clog.
gold dots 
- these are perfect for beginners to do outlines, they spray slow and thin and a little misty but in a good way. they rarely ever drip. the downside is u cant use it for a fill in it will take forever and on a shit concrete wall it doesnt spray thick enough to stick. these work best on krylon, sometimes they wont work on rustoleum cans, but most the time will. be carefull becuase if they dont work the spray will backfire out the bottom of the cap and make a mess on u, its best to do a light tap to see if its gonna spray, youll know right away. gold dots clog alot when your done with them becuase there so small.
pink dots and orange dots/german fats 
- german dots spray huge and pink dots spray a bit more bigger. dont spray to close using these on metal or they will cause drips. ive had pink dots blow the middle piece out of the tip before becuase of the wide pressure it spits out, always bring extras with u. these rarely clog u can use them over and over.
german outlines 
- these are grayish and cooler looking, i dont ever use them, they spray almost like a rusto but kinda faster and a tad bit thinner. this is good for maybe just a quick bubble letter, the only good thing is they dont drip much.
needle cap 
- NEVER BUY THESE THEY SPRAY LIKE STRINGY PISS WATER!
ny thins and fats, 
personally i dont ever use them, there kinda misty and sloppy, ones bigger then the other, just use a rusto instead.
theres more caps out there but ive never tried them.
your not gonna find caps in the store, u mostly gotta order them online.
when you paint color combos are the most important, your design can be basic but if u know how to combine the colors it will look slick. a basic drawing example would be black fill in, white shading and outline, and then outline the whole thing again in black.
everyone sucks when they first start, it takes a good 2 years to get pretty good, most the good tags u see them people have been doing it for 4-7 years. if you get arrested youll most likely get a huge fine, and service hours, sometimes jailtime up to a year or probation for a year. the 2nd time u get caught is worse, and the 3rd time you dont even wanna think about. quit after u get caught the first time.
its better to paint in a ghetto and deal with the thugs instead of a suburb dealin with cops wondering while your walking around at 4 am.
best time to bomb depends on the spot your hitting. observe it at diff times and see how traffic is. weekends are better cuz no one is up early for work the next day, saturday night is the best.
i hear to never photograph your work, never keep any graffiti on your comp, never keep any drawing in your house or anything in your house just in case you get search warranted, but if there going that far to search warrant u then youll prob go to jail anyways, besides what fun would it be if u didnt document your work. its best to paint alone, your fat friend cant always keep up, if u get arrested then never snitch anyone out, and never belive what the police tell u, and you do have a right to remain silent, get a lawyer asap
